Travel description:

In 122 AD, Emperor Hadrian had this monumental building built. The Romans left significant traces in the north of England to this day. The wall stretched 117 kilometers from the east to the west coast. After completion in just 6 years, an average of 9,000 soldiers were stationed there. It is not just the construction time that is impressive, but also how skillfully the wall was adapted to the landscape. We have packed the most beautiful and magnificent sections as well as the best museums and excavation sites into a compact hiking trip to England for you.
