Travel description:

Who doesn't know the film Braveheart and the heroic freedom fighter William Wallace? His victory at Sterling Bridge against the English has gone down in history. For 400 years, Robert Roy MacGregor fought impressively against the English authorities. His final resting place in "Balquidder" is moving and leaves impressions that stay with you for a long time. We start in the north of Glasgow in Drymen and head to the "Loch Lomond & Trossachs" National Park for the next few days. On the day off we visit the Wallace Monument and on the way to Stirling Castle we also cross Sterling Bridge. The "Falls of Dochart" at the end of our hiking trip in Killin are a magnificent finale. A good place to review this hiking trip in Scotland.
